Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 14, 2026
Introduction
Intertidal Tech LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our websites and use our services, including our AI voice agent demonstration.
This policy applies to intertidaltech.com, familylawvoice.com, dashboard.familylawvoice.com, and all related services.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using our website or services, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

When you use our demo request form or contact us, we may collect:
- First and last name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Area of legal interest (for example, Family Law, Wills and Trusts, Probate)
- Geographic location (county)
- Any additional information you voluntarily provide during a voice interaction
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring website
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
Voice Interaction Data
When you request and participate in a demo call with our AI voice agent:
- Your phone number is used to initiate the call
- The conversation is recorded for quality assurance and service improvement
- Transcripts of the conversation may be generated and stored
- Call metadata (duration, timestamps) is collected
All call recordings and transcripts are stored securely through our voice AI provider, Retell AI.
Appointment Scheduling and Booking Pages
When a law firm invites you to its public appointment-scheduling page to request or book a consultation, we collect the name, phone number, and email address you enter and the appointment time you select, and we send that information to the law firm's Smokeball practice-management system to create the booking. If you check the text-message consent box, we store a tamper-evident consent record, including a SHA-256 hash of the exact consent language you agreed to, so the firm can text you appointment confirmations and reminders. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of those texts. We do not record audio on scheduling pages; voice recording applies only to phone calls.

We use the information we collect to:
- Provide our AI voice agent demonstration service
- Respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests
- Send follow-up communications about our services (with your consent)
- Improve our website, services, and AI voice technology
- Analyze usage patterns and optimize user experience

If you are in the EEA, you may contact us to exercise your GDPR rights. We do not have a designated Data Protection Officer; contact support@intertidaltech.com for data protection inquiries.

AI Technology and Automated Decision-Making
Our service uses artificial intelligence technology to conduct phone conversations, qualify leads, and analyze call outcomes.
AI Vendors and Technology
The following AI technologies power our voice agent service:
- Retell AI - Voice agent platform that orchestrates real-time phone conversations
- OpenAI - Large language models used for live conversation and for post-call analysis and data extraction

AI-generated voice interactions are not human conversations. Per FCC Order 24-17, AI-generated voices are "artificial voices" under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
CCPA 2026 ADMT Rights
California residents have the right to opt out of automated decision-making technology (ADMT) that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Our AI voice agent qualifies leads and may influence whether and when a law firm contacts you. To opt out of AI-driven processing, contact support@intertidaltech.com.
EU AI Act Disclosure (Article 50)
If you interact with our AI voice agent, you are interacting with an artificial intelligence system, not a human. This disclosure is made pursuant to EU AI Act Article 50(1), which requires providers to ensure that individuals are informed when they are interacting with an AI system.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for use by law firms and legal professionals, not individual consumers under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (CCPA). If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately at support@intertidaltech.com.
